Preston “TJ” Lay, Associate Minister
TJ was born in Mountain Home, Idaho, where his dad was stationed at the Air Force base as a captain flying bombers. His mother was from Fort Worth, Texas, and his earliest memories were living and growing up in southern Oklahoma. TJ and his wife Carol moved to New Jersey (he could only take it for a couple of years) before they moved to Delmarva in 1993.
TJ and Carol were married in January of 1990 after meeting at an Oklahoma City radio station. TJ was a morning co-host, and Carol was a high school special education teacher and guest on the show to tell us about her deaf performing group who would be at our station ‘birthday party.’
TJ and Carol have 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Jennifer lives in Florida; her eldest son, Tim, is in Colorado with his wife and their only great-grandson. Tim’s younger brother, Nick, is in New York, and their sister, Paige is in Florida with Jenn. Erick is living in Lewes, Jason and his son, Austin, are in Oklahoma City, and their youngest son, Zack, his wife, Hailey and their son, Cade, are living with us in Laurel, Delaware.
Tj identified that he has always enjoyed the banjo. “I have the banjo that Carol bought me as a gift nearly thirty years ago. I still can’t play it”.
When asked about what excites him as being apart of the pastoral team at Park Lane, TJ indicated that “I’m excited by the fact that as the end of time draws ever closer, Bishop Ray has instilled in the hearts of leadership in the church the desire to meet people where they are to share the love of Christ and the Hope of the future. That means constantly reviewing our ministries and outreaches to quality check them and evaluate their effectiveness”.

We all share a vision of wanting to lead others to God. Everyone is encouraged to join. Park Lane will train, disciple, and encourage others to take the lead. We help you realize what God has already equipped you with”.
Keri Marshall – Reality Student Ministries
Keri was born in New York. Her family moved to Federalsburg, Maryland when she was 2 years old. Keri attended Lee University where she received her degree in Education in 1999. In 2004, Keri married her husband, Tony. Keri has 5 children: Anthony Marshall Jr. (21 yr old), Troy Marshall (19 yr old), Bryce Marshall (14 yr old), Hunter Speed (13 yr old, and Emma Marshall (13 yr old).
Keri truly enjoys her daily job as a teacher. Keri identifies that her “students always put a smile on my face, even when I am in a bad mood”. When Keri is not teaching, she enjoys watching her children in their extracurricular activities. When Keri has a free moment, she loves to work on my Circuit and create things. She enjoys doing needlepoint, but haven’t picked it up in a few years. Additionally, watching sports (especially football) with my family is another pastime.
Keri feels Park Lane has always had a special place in her heart. According to Keri “As a young person Park Lane helped groomed me into the Christian leader I am today. As a leader it excites me that the entire leadership team shares the same vision for grooming others for the work of Christ. As the youth leader, I am amazed as how the youth are being raised up in the ways of the Lord. I see how God is using them for his works and they unselfishly answer his calling on their lives”.
