Ray and Trish are Eastern Shore natives.  Soon after they married in July ’77, they became young parents of three gifted children: Cory, Sarah and Crystal.  As much as possible, Ray and Trish thoroughly enjoy their family-time among fifteen (15) grandchildren, dinner-and-a-movie, bargain shopping, gardening, and outdoor recreation.

Ray was first licensed in ministry with the Church of God (Cleveland TN) in 1980; and ordained in 1987. Together, the Parsons have served as Ministers of Youth, Evangelism and Visitation Directors, Christian Education Directors, Administrative Assistants, Associate Pastors, and church founder/planters.  Presently, Ray also serves as the Executive Secretary/Treasurer for the Federalsburg Ministerial Association.  Since 1979, the Parsons’ combined passions as worship leaders, musicians, Bible-teachers, men’s and women’s leaders, administrators and community net-workers has allowed them the rewarding privilege to return to their home-church while they “go, teach, preach, baptize and make disciples of all men.”
